　　Set-in present-day Europe, War of the Worlds is a multi-faceted series, based on the story by H.G. Wells.   When astronomers detect a transmission from another galaxy, it is definitive proof of intelligent extra-terrestrial life. The world’s population waits for further contact with baited breath. They do not have to wait long. Within days, mankind is all but wiped out; just pockets of humanity are left in an eerily deserted world.
　　As alien ships appear in the sky, the survivors ask a burning question – who are these attackers and why are they hell-bent on our destruction? Plots typically featured the firm's involvement in various high-profile criminal and civil cases that often mirrored current events at the time of the episodes' initial broadcast. Conflict between legal ethics and personal morality was a recurring theme.

　　艾丽·范宁将主演Hulu新剧《来自普莱恩维尔的女孩》(The Girl From Plainville，暂译)。该剧根据米歇尔·卡特的真实故事改编，2017年，卡特(范宁饰)因三年前发短信鼓励男友自杀而被判过失杀人罪，臭名昭著。丽兹·汉娜([华盛顿邮报])和帕特里克·马克曼努斯(《幻想快乐》)将共同撰写该剧剧本。

　　本剧改编自ABC News/ABC Radio的同名播客，讲述Elizabeth Holmes及她的公司Theranos如何崛起及坠落。
　　Amanda Seyfried饰演Elizabeth Holmes，她曾经一度被形容为「下一个乔布斯」，因为她提出一项最新技术能够只抽取少量血液就能立即进行检验，并因此得到多个名人的投资。然而实际上她和公司皆没有硬实力达成此事，于是在利欲熏心下Elizabeth开始不停造假，一度推出了根本没法提供正确数据的验血机；最终一切被拆穿后，Elizabeth现正面临刑事指控，而不认罪的她可能被判长达20年的刑期。
　　Naveen Andrews饰演Sunny Balwani，他是Elizabeth Holmes的商业拍档兼秘密男友，见证了Theranos的崛起及衰落。在《坏血》一书里，Balwani被指是造就公司里恐惧文化的原因之一。

　　第三季讲述闻名天下的前总统Bill Clinton性丑闻事件。讲述前总统Bill Clinton过去与白宫实习生Monica Lewinsky有染，而因为Paula Jones当时向总统提出性骚扰指控，在诉讼期间牵扯出Monica与总统的关系（Linda Tripp过去偷录下了她与Monica的对话，成为了证据之一）。

　　After defeating the aliens and saving Earth, the Legends find themselves stranded in 1925 Odessa, Texas with a destroyed Waverider. Wanting to help fix things, Astra tries using her powers, unwanted attention from the town and that of the new Director of the Bureau of Investigation, J. Edgar Hoover, and a surprise no one expected. Realizing they need to escape, Sara and Ava create a distraction by going on a crime spree with Hoover hot on their tails. Meanwhile, Zari is finding it hard to get over Constantine, so Behrad suggests the only thing he knows that can help.
