　　构思源自同名纪录片，这部医务剧以全美最忙碌，名声也最不堪的洛杉矶县医院的急症室为故事背景。一群医术精湛的医生尽管受制于落后的制度，但他们仍为理想、为病人努力奋斗。

　　Issa Rae开发的《说唱女团 Rap Sh*t》讲述一个在迈阿密的女子说唱组合想在音乐界闯出自己的事业。

　　在经历灾难性的约会和父母的意外婚礼之后，Alex、Valerie和Laura决心离开这个家重建自己的生活。但那谈何容易？尽管有新朋友、新生意伙伴、新男友和新女友，但那只能起到短暂的「分心」作用，这个功能紊乱的家庭仍然像吸铁石一样牢牢吸引着他们。
　　Dylan Gelula在第二季中扮演Laura的新学校里的学生Aubrey，非常自信，喜欢挖苦人。他的智力水平与Laura不相上下，而且有望成为Laura最亲密的朋友。Britt Robertson扮演Jordon（Vincent Kartheiser）的助理Fallon，聪明、愤世嫉俗、爱挖苦人、有自己的企图。这是她继《随缘》（Life Unexpected）之后再次与制片人、剧集创作人Liz Tigelaar合作。Kyle Bornheimer扮演多集角色Jack，Michaela第二季的主要爱情对象。他似乎对所有事情都有一套观点，他想干什么就干什么，想要什么就要什么。Britt Lower扮演多集角色Sarah Finn，是Alex的前女友。她有了一个新未婚夫……偏偏她重新进入了Alex的生活。Katie Aselton扮演多集角色Jennifer。她是一个新来的理疗专家，刚刚租下Valerie隔壁的空办公室。Jennifer沉着冷静，阅历丰富，有一群交往多年的老朋友。Jennifer已经成功完成了离婚之后的生活转变，Valerie很想成为她生活圈中的一部分。Julie Berman被提升为第二季的常规演员，她在第一季中扮演Valerie的助理Leia。

　　CW这一版根据1990年法国电影《尼基塔女郎》、1993年美国翻拍版电影《尼基塔：永不回头》及1997年由美国和加拿大联合制作的电视剧集《尼基塔女郎》改编而成。
　　情节延续上一季的紧凑，这一次中Nikita（李美琪 Maggie Q 饰）将继续与老谋深算的Percy的周旋，而她与组织之间的这场战斗继续在上演。不过这一次她多了三个帮手，变成爱人的Michael（夏恩·韦斯特 Shane West 饰）、组织内的卧底Alex（琳德西·冯塞卡 Lyndsy Fonseca 饰）、计算机专家Brikhoff（亚伦·斯坦福 Aaron Stanford 饰）。众人配合默契、出生入死，战胜一个又一个困难，顺利执行了一次次危险任务。而在对于组织真相的探究中，也发现它涉及范围之广，已经打入国家政府内部。这一次，众人是否还可能扭转局面……

When people are paying upwards of three hundred pounds a night for a room, they’re prepared to leave real life at the door and play as hard as they want. 　　Henry Fallon, who is wheelchair bound and is suffering from a neurological disorder, apparently commits suicide and Morse has mixed feelings working on this case as he was once engaged to the dead man's wife, Susan Fallon. The body was found by his son-in-law Peter Rhodes, a local antiques dealer and the victim's wife was in London. When Fallon's doctor advises Morse that Henry didn't have the physical capability to hold a gun to his head, the police realize they may have a murder on their hands. When the police are told that the business arrangement between Fallon and Rhodes had fallen apart, they also have a suspect. Lewis is concerned that Morse is too close to Mrs. Fallon to be objective but in the end, the perpetrators are identified.

　　NBC续订了Dick Wolf大神目前手里的全部四部剧集，这也让续订了第20季的《法律与秩序：特殊受害者》将成为美剧史上最长寿的剧情类剧集，与亲戚《法律与秩序》以及《荒野大镖客》并列。此前《法律与秩序》在第20季后被砍，未能超越《荒野大镖客》成为美剧史上最长寿的剧情剧，这次SVU有希望。
