　　博基亚家族是14到16世纪间十分有影响力的一个意大利家族，教皇亚历山大六世及其子女均为该家族成员。博基亚家族是当时欧洲颇有影响力的宗教、军事和政治领袖。
　　剧集《博基亚家族》的背景设定在1492年，当时教皇亚历山大六世（真名为 Rodrigo Borgia）正在欧洲呼风唤雨，显赫一时。该剧将在2011年播出。
