女鬼桥2：怨鬼楼

　　正值乱世，贼寇横行，十字刀客因暗杀贪官，被府衙通缉。在十字刀客经常出没的县城，脾气古怪的神医华洛正想方设法寻找一味治疗女徒弟孙琰眼盲症的药材。
　　县城突发几起恶性投毒案，被害人体内竟含有华洛苦苦寻找的那味药，华洛决定查清此案，而他的搭档，正是一直追求孙琰的县衙班头张范。
　　华洛很快找出投毒者，本想顺藤摸瓜找到幕后主使，却被新来的县令王承打乱了阵脚。王承心狠手辣，一上来就栽赃陷害老县令，又杀了投毒者全家，嫁祸给都尉，短短几日，彻底将兵权掌握在自己手中。
　　华洛并没有止步，他利用都尉的尸体查出王承是黄巾贼寇，根本不是朝廷委派的新县令！张范带人抓捕王承，却遭反叛，反被杀害。孙琰欲替张范报仇，险些丧命，还从王承处得知她一直敬仰的十字刀客在十四年前杀害了自己全家。
　　华洛准备在给王承手术过程中杀了他，却没想到王承抓到了十字刀客作为威胁，华洛艰难完成手术，将奄奄一息的十字刀客带到医馆，孙琰见状，勃然大怒，要为全家报仇。华洛不得不道出真相，原来他才是真正的十字刀客，十四年前被王承陷害误杀孙琰一家。
　　孙琰因无法接受而离开，华洛重新化身十字刀客欲与王承决战，并夺取治疗孙琰眼疾的药。而孙琰最终回来了，与华洛并肩作战。

　　他不仅为了还债监禁了拥有比特币的海任，还为了满足自己的控制欲监禁了自己的女友延美。他将为达目的理性暴力和为了爱情的感性暴力合理化，不断殴打并折磨她们，与此同时利用她们不可告人的秘密彻底摧毁了她们的人生。

　　麦克（肯尼思·布拉纳 Kenneth Branagh 饰）是一名私家侦探，一日，一位失去了记忆的女子（艾玛·汤普森 Emma Thompson 饰）向他求助，希望能够通过他的帮助找回自己的身份。在催眠大师富兰克林（德里克·雅各比 Derek Jacobi 饰）的催眠之中，女子得知了自己前世的姓名——玛格丽特。
　　随着时间的推移，麦克渐渐爱上了善良的失意女子，在一次催眠中，他发现自己的前世竟然就是玛格丽特的丈夫罗曼，而玛格丽特正是死于罗曼之手。随着调查的深入，麦克发现富兰克林亦被卷入了他们纷乱复杂的前世今生之中，而他其实才是杀害玛格丽特的真正凶手。如今，命运让富兰克林和玛格丽特再度重逢，亦将玛格丽特置于了危险之中。

　　This early 70's giallo by Umberto Lenzi is certainly among the best in his filmography and also in the whole genre. Personally I think Lenzi's best films are the funny cartoon-turned-film Kriminal, the stylish giallo Seven Blood-Stained Orchids, the explosive Napoli violenta and this. In the eighties he did plenty of film trash in form of Eaten Alive, Hitcher in the Dark or Black Demons, all of which are ripping something off and/or very dull and slow moving. Knife of Ice came when the giallo boom was at its hottest and the result is convincing.
　　Technically the film is superb, containing great cinematography in the beginning when we learn about the main character's trauma towards trains. From this point on, Lenzi shows us his ability to benefit the widescreen and, for example, the bicycle ride near the forest is genuinely beautiful! This scene also shows Lenzi's ability to build suspense, very slowly but meaningfully. After all, there aren't so many murders in the whole film, only the suspense circulating around the murderer's identity.
　　One suspect is a devil worshipper which brings new aspects to the mystery. Since the final scene takes place in a church, one can wonder if Lenzi wanted to comment on something, maybe the hypocritical morale of church and superstition. The main character (Carrol Baker) is mute which demands a lot from her face and eyes. The actress works very well, giving us a believable performance circulating around the emotions of fear and mental pain. The other actors are good, too. The finally, however, may not give too positive a sight about female sex since they all are expressed rather negatively in the film, one way or another. Still this is easily among the most noteworthy in the genre, not as bloody as the Argento films, for example, but equally suspenseful and visually also interesting.

　　二十多年前，「日冕女王号」在人人闻之色变的百慕达三角洲失去踪影，如今却突然神秘现身而被海岸防卫队发现；亚伦因父母为当年随船失踪的乘客，因而自此一心一意找寻「日冕女王号」的行踪，而事实的真相亦随著船上的乘客埋藏在百慕达三角洲里。 为了查出这神秘事件背后的原因，七个人登上「日冕女王号」的甲板做进一步的调查，但不久后便开始发生恐怖的意外，死者亡灵向登船的人员发出警告：造成该船二十年前意外的祸首，如今即将变本加厉、卷土重来…

　　一天，吉姆（C·托马斯·豪威尔 C. Thomas Howell 饰）孤身一人开车行驶在公路上，遇到一个名为约翰（鲁特格尔·哈尔 Rutger Hauer 饰）的男人要求搭车，吉姆觉得漫漫长路上有个伴也不错，于是答应约翰上车。令吉姆没有想到的是，约翰告诉他自己是一个连环杀手，吓坏了的吉姆当然想要甩掉这个恶魔，可是约翰可没有这么好打发。
　　虽然约翰下了吉姆的车，但他却并没有离开吉姆的身边。除了常常骚扰吉姆让他吓得心脏病都快要发作外，约翰还顺手杀了几个人，并且将罪行巧妙的栽赃在吉姆的身上。约翰的欺人太甚让吉姆决定对他进行报复，当然，这个聪明的男人也不是好惹的。

　　Faces of Anne relies heavily on elements of the slasher film – and in many ways, that’s exactly what it is. But the film is also a puzzle, whose central question – Why is Anne here? – allows us to explore theories as to its solution until the very last moment. Are we inside a video game? An escape room? The mind of someone with multiple personalities? The elaborate and nihilistic fantasy of a deranged serial killer? It’s nothing new to remark that the best horror films are often those that reflect the fears of society; this film builds a clever – and viscerally terrifying – analogy of some of the difficulties faced by today’s young people.
