　　小毛夫妻在金门开设民宿餐厅，却碰上新冠肺炎、金厦小三通暂时关闭，于是邀了一帮兄弟来到金门祝贺顺便帮忙宣传，在参观旅游时，意外遇上新世代年轻网红，一群连手机都不太会用的中年大叔们居然误入了网红直播。淑贞外卖送便当却意外碰上热情追求者，这也让淑贞碰上史无前例的危机！网红与中年大叔会迸出什么样的火花?新世代与中世代的碰撞又会闹出什么笑点?而深入险境的淑贞真能全身而退吗……

　　故事由洪于晴飾演的女主角海婷，無意捲入村莊發生的命案，過程中遇到了林暉閔飾演從小被人蛇集團綁架的少年，讓原本平靜無波的夏日小村，頓生無數波瀾。

　　今作の舞台は、連続ドラマ第2シーズンのラストから1年半後の夏。次女の里美が誕生し、万木家の人々はにぎやかな日常を過ごしていた。真也は異動先から野毛山警察署へ戻ることになったものの、試験で警部に昇任したことで、強行犯チームは気まずい雰囲気に。そんな折に朝顔のもとへ、同時にひき逃げされたとみられる男女の遺体解剖依頼が舞い込み、この出会いが彼女の人生に大きな影響を与えていく。そして物語のラストでは、育児や父の病状に悩む朝顔が家族とともに岩手・陸前高田市を訪れ、娘たちを見つめながらある決断をする。
