　　故事叙述一个巧妙的契机，在泰瑞进入飞哥小佛家五周年纪念日当天，飞哥做了一个用大型鸭嘴兽羽毛球机器，而且两人就坐在里头，在阴错阳差之下撞上了背着两人驾着火箭车出任务的泰瑞，意外弹到了杜芬舒斯家中，飞哥与小佛因此结识了杜芬舒斯，并帮杜芬舒斯修好被他们撞烂的”超时空终结者”，刚好泰瑞在此时闯进杜芬舒斯家，因为不能被家中主人发现，所以只好变回毫无威胁性的鸭嘴兽。飞哥帮忙修好机器后，一行人进入了另一个时空。那个时空是一个被穿黑袍的独眼杜芬舒斯独裁统治的三州地区，莫来管队长则成了独眼杜芬舒斯底下的助理。
　　独眼杜芬舒斯把自己那个时空的鸭嘴兽泰瑞给改造成了自己的邪恶部属，而此时泰瑞也在情急之下暴露了自己的身分，秘密特务的身分让飞哥很不谅解，他把泰瑞当成家人，而家人是不该有秘密的，独眼杜芬舒斯命令机械鸭嘴兽去攻击鸭嘴兽泰瑞，在经过一番缠斗之后暂时甩掉了他，但鸭嘴兽泰瑞却想独自去对付独眼杜芬舒斯却失败被俘，飞哥想回到自己的时空，但是时空终结者的遥控器却失灵了，于是他们去找属于那个时空的自己，却发现另一个自己却和本身判若两人，毫无想像力，而且不知道暑假是什么。
　　于是他们又去找了那个时空的伊莎贝拉，发现伊莎贝拉是杜芬反抗军的一名军官，而飞哥的朋友们在那个时空也都成了反抗军的一员，凯蒂斯则是反抗军头领。另一方面独眼杜芬舒斯听了杜芬舒斯所叙述的另一个三州地区，于是想利用时空终结者到飞哥本来的时空进行大规模侵略，但是杜芬舒斯却忘了怎么启动，独眼杜芬舒斯只好利用手上的鸭嘴兽泰瑞当人质把飞哥他们全抓过来，杜芬舒斯在此时想起了如何改造，开启了时空之门，但独眼杜芬舒斯却因为杜芬舒斯过于懦弱，所以把他连同飞哥他们一起送去喂怪兽，此时那个时空的凯蒂斯救了他们，并用时空之门展开大逃亡。
　　逃回了自己的时空，却发现独眼杜芬舒斯的机器大军也入侵了自己的家园，于是他们找到藏在家里的密道，找到鸭嘴兽泰瑞留下来的秘密武器，原来是飞哥他们在暑假做的所有发明，两个时空的人用飞哥的发明合力击退了独眼杜芬舒斯的机械军团，飞哥摧毁了机器人的主控制台，让机器人全部当机，而压嘴兽泰瑞也打败了机械泰瑞，消除它的邪恶思想。杜芬舒斯用独眼杜芬舒斯最心爱的玩具火车头把他引回属于他的时空，并被反抗军和莫来管所擒。
　　因为泰瑞暴露了自己的身分，所以必须遣往别处，凯尔建议用杜芬舒斯的记忆终结者消除他们的记忆，飞哥因为这一连串经历过于精彩所以舍不得删除，但小佛提醒他美好的记忆可以自己创造，但泰瑞只有一只，所以选择删除记忆，一切又回复正常。(在记意删除前,伊莎贝拉亲了飞哥一下)
